Most of our clients live in a two mile radius of Hinckley. Besides year end work the firm specialises in Cloud book keeping providing through HMRC aproved software assistance to clients with cashflow management and recording, monthly and weekly reporting of Payroll and MTD quarterly and annual reporting
Over time our client base has grown to successive generations of clients (and accountants!). We provide sound wealth and business advice with property and business acquisitions based on our experience of these issues.

After ten years working in London I joined my father Peter Herbert Brealey in 1990 and worked with him in partnership at Brealey Foster & Co until his death in 1999.
My father Peter Herbert Brealey led significant export performance at Massey Ferguson tractors.

I have a first class academic background, trained with KPMG London and main board CFO experience specialising in the quarry industry. Life is an adventure! I maintain a longstanding connection as an international consultant with global clients in Sudan, China and Argentina.
As CEO of Mininvest I have delivered UK brownfield strategic land projects notably at Midland Quarry, Camp Hill Nuneaton.
My principal brownfield property focus is the Mineral Investments Limited property of 150 acres at Roman Ridge Road Highfields in Doncaster, DN5 7UJ the former Brodsworth Quarry.
Over the years we have transformed this site into something of a local beauty spot!
I am a Soil Association licencee exporting plant oils worldwide and still find time for singing and sport. I have litigated in person notably in the first tier of the Property Tribunal. I have a good knowledge of HMRC matters and Trust Administration and Law from our family office work.
I remain a Company Director and International Consultant.
No one is eternal but I can still be found in the office in the Horsefair from 8.30am with my team. Each year we have 1-2 students on a 13 month work experience contract from the Finance and Accounting course at Sheffield Hallam University. Students return to win first class honours and job offers from Big 4 accounting firms.

It’s been a pretty hectic start getting back into the university lifestyle after such a long time away. This paired with the crazy job application process.
I just I thought I’d drop you a line to say that I have accepted a job offer from PWC. I’ll be working in their Newcastle office in the Audit department.

An example of one years student experience
Brealey Foster is a local Accountancy Practice where I was solely responsible for the preparation of 306 Personal, Partnership & Limited Companies tax returns, working directly with clients and reporting to the Office Manager. I was also responsible for covering Peter Brealey in his absence abroad and in London, totalling 40% of the year and personally assisting with his and his clients projects.
